Hi.

The situation:
I connect to my remote workstation, on the same LAN connection, a machine that lies about 20 meters from me, and all works fine, 30 FPS easily, up to 60 if i want to.
If I stop using the remote machine, and come back some time later, 15/20 minutes perhaps, the performance of the machine drops to 1 fps.
If I go to the physical machine to check, (screen blanking turned off) the performance is fine, works as it should, but on the receiver i can not go past 1 FPS.
If I log off and login again on the sender machine, then the performance is back to normal.

Logging off and on is non-optimal as m y datasets are quite large and take several minutes to load each time.

I have tried disabling screenavers, and locking on the sender machine, but it does not improve.
I have tried leaving 3D content rendering on screen, but it does not help.
It seems that if there is no mouse/keyboard interaction with the remote machine, then the performance will be stuck at 1FPS after leaving the remote machine unused for a while.

My sender machine:

HP Z840 (same config as the receiver machine)
Remote Boost V20.4.0 - rgsenderconfig restored to defaults, to be extra sure

Linux Xubuntu 20.04.6 - fresh, clean installation

Nvidia RTX3060Ti running latest drivers (570)

My receiver machine:

HP Z840 (same config as the sender machine)

Windows 10 64bit

HP ZCentral Remote Boost Receiver

Version: 20.4.0.8886 (3a328f4d3)

Build Date: Mar 14 2022

Thanks.

Hello,

Thank you for all of the details.  I would like to have you try V20.4.2.9063 release.  We made some fixes that might help you.

Can you reach out to me at zcentral@hp.com?

I will have to provide you with a drop box (ftp) for you to download the release from.  Reference this forum post title in your subject line.
