Hi,

Im working on remote at my job, we're doing 3D animation and i need the sound to work.

My problem is, the sound is loud on my pc at home and on my pc at work too, people are working on place and they hear the sound of my pc. No matter if a headset is plugged or not on that pc, the sound doesn't work if I try to use the headset on the sender, it only works when it's the speaker that is selected, and if i set the sound on 0, i can't hear either on the sender or receiver.

Sorry if it's not very clear

Thanks

That's basically how it works. ZCentral "captures" the audio and forwards it to your remote computer. Which means the audio is playing on the host computer as well. There is a way around this though. But, someone has to be local to the computer to do it, can't do this remotely.

1. Uninstall HP ZCentral Sender.
2. In Device Manager, disable all Audio Hardware. Restart may be required.

3. Install HP ZCentral Sender. With no enabled Audio Hardware, ZCentral will install it's own virtual audio device, HP Remote Audio.

4. Optionally, re-enable the previously disabled hardware.

Now, when working remotely, on the Host computer select the Speakers (HP Remote Audio) as your audio playback device. The sound will only be heard on your remote computer and not the Host. When working locally select the Speakers(whatever actual audio) as your audio playback device to here the sound locally again.
