Solved!

Usage RGS on WinServer2012 with multiple login

HP Recommended
HP RGS
Microsoft Windows Server 2012 and older

I'm evaluating RGS with a Windows (2012 R2, now) Sender and some (Win and Mac) recevicer.

It works fine. We can easily access and even collaborate.

Our main goal is NOT collaboration or sharing, but a single login to server with different user.

We are not able to login (using RGS) to different session on window server, like we get with RDP (windows).

Our aim is: receiver to server, login to specific user and no sharing/collaboration, made as many user can login to server: one receiver-one login.

Thanks for any advice

Hi Msilvagni,

RGS / Remote Boost is meant for a single user per machine, as if the user is there "physically".

That is why collaboration kicks in when you have more than one user connected on the same system.

RGS is currently not supported on Windows Server configs as it does not support multiple simultaneous users (like RDP does).

Thank you.
