macOS 11.0 Big Sur

I'm on a Mac 11.6.7 Receiver and a Linux CentOS 7 Sender.

On the Mac, KeyboardChecker.com registers the F15 key.

I have disabled the function key shortcuts in my Mac Keyboard settings.

When I use ZCentral, no application nor KeyboardChecker.com registers the F15 key.

I have tried adding the "Rgreceiver.KeyboardMapMode=1" line.

It disables the F14 key and does not fix anything.

Please let me know of any further troubleshooting steps I can take.

Thank you!

Can you tell me what version of Remote Boost you have on your sender and receiver?  Is this related to an application that you are using or in general?

HP ZCentral Remote Boost Sender
Version: 22.0.0.8873 (3c7312fb8)
Build Date: Dec 13 2021

Receiver:

Version 22.1.0.8945 (64b19f9c5)

Build Date: Mar 15 2022

I'd like to be able to use the F15 key in Flame.

Currently F15 doesn't work in any application.

I tried using ZCentral from a PC Receiver, and F15 worked.

Also, I promise that I am the same person as OP.

What Mac are you using?  I have a couple of MacBook Pros.

Any specific keyboard if not a laptop?

It's a Trash Can:

Mac Pro (Late 2013) 3.5 GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon E5

I am currently using a 'Dell by Logitech' wireless PC keyboard that's so old it's apparently "vintage:"

But I've also tried a standard Mac wired keyboard with no success.

Is F15 from Mac to Linux working for you?

I am trying to find an extended keyboard to test with.  Should know tomorrow if

we have one or not.

I saw a post by Dell that says the F15 (pause/break button) is no longer available.  Here is the link.  The suggest using different sequences on the keyboard. https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-us/000145271/break-key-no-longer-available-on-dell-xps-e-and-m...

If those different sequences don't work, try checking "Send First Key" in the Receiver GUI settings under the Hotkeys section.

Thank you for the link. However, that refers to specific laptops which are no longer shipping with a physical F15 button.

"Send First Key" did not enable F15.

I'm curious to know if F15 from Mac to Linux works on your end. If this is just a bug in the software and not a problem on my end, I can work around it easily enough.

Thank you for your help with this!

We were able to replicate the issue, and I filed a defect.
