Zcentral Boost
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hi,

i'm having difficulty to install Z Central Boost.

It seems that i'm able to set in on a local network only.

We can use it via internet to remote control a workstation from home, right?

Anybody know a good tutorial for the install?

I feel this is over complicated compared to TeamViewer, Anydesk, etc... Any help will be really appreciated.

Best regards,

Remote Boost requires the use of a VPN or using port forwarding if over the internet.  Both the sender and receiver must be able to see each other on the network.  Port 42966 is the port the sender listens and communicates on.  Make sure that port is open on both TCP and UDP.  Remote Boost only opens up the OS firewall, so if you have other firewalls, anti-virus, or other intrusion detection methods in place, make sure that port 42966 is not being blocked, and is whitelisted.

You can connect by using either the hostname or IP Address.  See page 84 in the Troubleshooting section.

To install Remote Boost, you must have administrative privileges.  Let me know if you need further assistance after installing.
