HI,

Is there a way to disable the audio silencer function in remote boost sender? I am editing videos and when the audio signal is under a threshold, it is completely muted by the silencer function which is very disturbing.

I found the relevant entires in the log:

06-13-24 10:42:02 304(18208) DEBUG - Silencer::containsSilence - Audio silence threshold: 237 signal threshold: 474

06-13-24 10:42:02 304(18208) DEBUG - Silencer::containsSilence - Audio silence threshold: 111 signal threshold: 222

06-13-24 10:42:03 304(18208) DEBUG - Silencer::containsSilence - Audio silence threshold: 51 signal threshold: 102

06-13-24 10:42:03 304(18208) DEBUG - Silencer::containsSilence - Audio silence threshold: 48 signal threshold: 96

Thanks,

E

Do you have audio coming out of your sender as well as your receiver?  Normally I mute my sender so I don't hear sound out of it, but it can still send audio.  What version of Remote Boost are you using?  What OS is on your sender?  Does this happen when using a particular application, if so which one?

Update on my reply:  We did a fix for this issue on Remote Boost 20.0.1 (second release of Remote Boost).  Recommendation would be to update to the latest version if you are still on 20.0.0 release.

Apology for the late reply.
