I have Compaq Presario CQ50-110US Notebook PC, Windows Vista preinstalled (earlier), now with new hard drive and Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows 7 Enterprise dual boot OS, all because of faulty BIOS flasher program offered for download from www.hp.com Support and Drivers web page for Windows 7 32-bit.

Latest BIOS flasher program 'WinPhlash' from Phoenix (who in turn asked a third party to develop the program) This program has critical error which flashed BIOS but started overheating of laptop to extent I lost original 250GB Seagate company fitted hard drive (which I have even now), therefore I downloaded previous version of BIOS program from www.hp.com, after successful installation and flashing of BIOS, now overheating of laptop has stopped (which starts immediately). Please tell me why should I lose money for faulty software from www.hp.com (probably not checked for errors). I demand refund of expenses I suffered for flashing BIOS with Phoenix's WinPhlash error prone software (which hasn't flashed BIOS to be truly technically speaking, even log file suggests failure) and specific programs for 32 bit processor does shows error of missing file (there is a common file for both 32 bit and 64 bit processor, where as 32 bit program needs different file, so BIOS does not get flashed because of program termination, which could have saved overheating of laptop should default flasher.exe file showed error message and rather than executing faulty BIOS flashing, stopped at error message.
Tell me where and how I could get refund of expenses from your company? Approx cost $100

Although I am an HP employee, I am speaking for myself and not for Hewlett-Packard.
