Welcome to the HP Support Forums. I understand that you are getting an error message from the color cartridge that came with your printer. I would like to help. 

 

Try going through the troubleshooting steps found in this document. HP Inkjet printers - Ink cartridge errors

I HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING AND ITS STILL COMING UP INCOMPATIBLE CARTRIDGES. CANT UNDERSTAND AS IT WORKED WHEN THE CARTRIDGES WERE SENT TO US

Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forums and Welcome. I have read about your HP OFFICE JET 4650 printer and getting INCOMPATIBLE CARTRIDGES error message.

 

Superb job on trying the above-mentioned troubleshooting steps to isolate the issue.

  • Make sure you are using HP 63 black and HP 63 tri-color cartridges.
  • Clean the copper contact in the cartridge.

If it does not work please contact HP phone support.
