HP Recommended
Product: HP Deskjet 540
Operating System: Other

HP has discontinued making the #26 black ink cartridge.  I can now find only new old stock cartridges that are expired.

 

Does anyone know if a continuous ink system is available for this printer? 

 

I can refill my old cartridges, but they will only last so long. 

 

I am using a DOS program, so modern printers that I have tried don't work. 

 

Any suggestions that will let me continue to use my HP Deskjet 540 printer would be appreciated.
