Hi.

I had to update my instant ink billing information, which I have done and my account has been reinstated. However, I still can't print anything and the error message still remains on my printer screen. 

Can anyone help to sort this out please?

Hey there! @GD121, Thanks for stopping by the HP Support Community!

 

Have you changed the billing address or billing details?

 

On the instant ink, account page check if the account is in a suspended state.

 

If a Cancellation in Progress message displays in the My Account section, click Keep Enrollment and then follow the on-screen prompts to stop the cancellation.

 

If the account is not in a suspended state. Remove and reinstall the ink cartridges on the printer. Remove the billing details from the account page and update the details again.

thank you for your reply however i have tried all this and it still hasnt worked. 

i want to keep my account, it is not in a cancelled or suspended state however the little envelope with the ink blob is still showing on my printer and this seems to be preventing me from printing. i cant get it off. I've tried hard resetting, removing the ink, hard shut down and nothing has worked and i cant find any solutions online.
