I'm unable to connect to my printer from my computer. I have receive error message printer failure. I followed the instructions to uninstall the printer and remove the printer drivers. However my printer drivers are unable to remove. I receive the error below when trying to remove the printer driver. I turned the printer off and still receive this error message.
Error message: Failed to remove driver HP OfficeJet 8700 PCL-3. The specified printer driver is currently in use.
Failed to remove package hpygid19_v4.inf.

Restart your PC and try to uninstall the printer driver. Use the method below to remove all existing print drivers installed on your PC:
1.) In Windows, search for and open Apps & features.
2.) Select your HP Printer
3.) Select Uninstall
4.) In Windows, search for and open Printers &Scanners
5.) In the Printers &Scanners windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose 'Delete' or 'Remove Device'
6.) Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo.
7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”)
8.) Click on the "Drivers" tab
9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom
10.) Select Ok
11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows
12.) Close Devices and Printers
Once the drivers are removed, to download and install the software and driver: Click here

- Select the Download button on this page.
- In the File Download dialog box, click Run or Open, and then follow the steps in in the Program Install and Uninstall Troubleshooter.
