i get the error message 49.38.07 when i put the printer on. I have also made a cold reset med samma resultat.

Disconnect any network or USB cables and power the device off, then on. If it come to ready, the issue is likely a corrupt print job or newer program creating a print job  that the printer cannot understand. Purge all print jobs and update the firmware on the printer. 

 

If the printer does not come to ready then you might have some type of hardware issue. Depending on model I have seen a failing harddrive cause this issue occasionally.
