I have 1 question regarding page coverage .

I use CF280A and said in 5% page coverage I can print 2700 page. but what if I print les ( 4% ore 2% ) does that mean i can print over 2700 page and cartrideg will still be under waranty ?

Thanks and all the best

Hi

Yes, theoretically yield is inversely proposal to print page coverage. So when page coverage is low then yield should go more.

5% page coverage is an industry standard of measure cartridge yield.

Provided you need to consider below points;

Paper Size – A4/Letter

Paper Type – Normal

Printer driver settings (Default)

That’s interesting question.

Although I am an HP employee, I am speaking for myself and not for HP.

Dear rk_russelking thank you for replay , but my question was very simple.

I dont want to spend and waste my time on reading too much text just to get a answer

If u know answer make it simple ,, yes u will be in position to print more,  No u cannot print because this and that , and yes/no under waranty ``

The HP Toner cartridge product is warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship until the printer provides a low-life indicator on the control panel. In short the warrantly is covered on the consumable till it reaches a low-life capacity regardless of what page percentage coverage is or the amount of printed outputs.

Ok I not talking for any defect on cartridge and high - low capacity.

Just I need to know if the cartridge falls under guaranties if I print les then 4% page coverage, since said at  5% page coverage u will be abnle to print 2700 page.

Oore is only warranted till 2700 page even If i print les page coverage

Please explain exactly how you are going to measure the 4% coverage rate in complete detail.

fhmfghg.JPGI know only when techician come to check my cartrige he said that cartridge was printer over the yeild and les then 5% page coverage. insted of 2700 page I print over 8000 page and still showing 50% leftover toner in cartridge.
