I am having this problem, after a paper jam (accordion style) printer gave me this error. Have anyone fixed it?

since your a student, we will keep this simple.

its a fuser error, replace it.

accordian style = output roller.

product? In our shop, we call it a printer. Product is the current venicular, meaning a generic term, meaning evasive.

remember some printers plugged into a power bar, the power bar may develope a blown diode.

Thats why OEM tells you to plug into the wall.

I already replace the fuser and still nothing. Same error. I notice that when I turn on the printer there is no sound.

What should I do now>

Don't know how old this post is, but I think the question was "What is the cause of the 50.7 error?" None of the answers addressed this issue... They all evaded the issue as to the cause of the error, not the solution... It is easy to replace a fuser, but the cause is the key issue... So, what is it guys?...

HI

Did you ever get an answer to this? We are experiencing exactly the same problem.

Printer works OK for a while and then 50.7 fuser error appears and it beeps.

Roller also makes a clicking sound when scanning.

Allright, neither Option 1 nor Option 2 worked for me.

Contact HP support, I thought this is what the support forum is about, right?

Reading throught the posts it looks like even replacing the fuser helped here. Which makes me believe this is a SW issue. What is the solution?

thanks in advance

DC Controller should do the trick,
