Laser Jet Pro MFP M281fdw
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My HP Laser Jet Pro MFP M281fdw is in a reoccurring cycle of turning off and on with 79 Service Error.   This started happening when I switched to a new modem.   I have found old posts where they suggest to turn off printer, then turn back on.  Nope, did not work. Then it suggested to take your printer and plug it directly into it's own outlet (no power strip).  Then you turn it back on.  That did not work, the error is still there.  Then I saw a recommendation on the community page to disconnect one's modem.  I did that, turned on the printer and I did not get the error.  I plugged my modem (Comcast Xfinity) back in and my printer keeps turning on and off in an endless cycle.  I am none too happy as I have paid for an HP Care Package and apparently in the age of the internet HP has not figured out how to make that service happen in an instant, i.e. my printer still shows I don't have a service that will allow me to talk to a real human being.  I am none too pleased.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you connecting via wired or wireless? This may not be a printer issue or rather specifically a printer issue. Are you using a static ip address or Dhcp?
