I have 2 x  Color Laserjet CP1518ni for about three years now. Both printers do not calibrate corretly anymore.

I have problems with printing colored logos. I see now magneta shadows as result of wrong alignment.

- I have Windows 7, where the HP Fix tools do not work. So I use the buttons on the printer

- But also try to calibrate with my laptop with Windows XP on it.

- Installed new firmware, used every menu-item I hoped that could have any effect.

- Searched and searched the internet, I found Nothing works.

- Does anybody have an idea to fix this?

Hi,

Thanks, the alignment is now accurate.

After performing a cold reset, I ordered a calibrate.

Perfect.

Hi mteim,

Are the cartridges new OEM or Remanufactured?

What is the toner levels in each cartridge?

Have you tried installing a new set of toner cartridges?

Hi,

The Cartridges are all original and new.

The black is about %55 and the rest are %100

I had to change Magenta but I changed all three colors at the same time.

It was working before it runs out of Magenta color.

I did the cold reset and everything but still not working. It does not react to "Calibrate now"  and "Cleanig" command. Also when the job is sent for print, it shows printing but nothing happens.

Thank you
