The attention light on my locally attached printer is flashing and the msg screen says 'Load Paper'.  Paper is loaded in the tray.  The tray is set to the correct paper size.  I've checked that the guides in the paper drawer are set correctly,  I've checked for paper jams.  I've unplugged the printer and and reset it.   The message doesn't change even when my computer is turned off.  Nothing will print.

There is a spring loaded paper out flag on this model that is known to break and then you get the load paper since the printer no longer sees the paper in the tray. I have instructions for replacement so if interested send me a private message and I will forward them to you. Just to let you know, the procedure is not very easy.

Why exactly does this information need to be a secret and you need to "PRIVATE MESSAGE" people???? I really don't understand people sometimes...

Think about this for a second.... What if, say for instance, some other bloke comes along and has this exact same problem... now instead of having the information archived right here, publicly on the forum... this person now needs to track down mr "davidzuts" HP forum extraordinaire for the top secret information that was so mysterious that they could not possibly divulge the information to the public but has to KEEP IT IN THEIR CIRCLE OF SECRETS only to release it to those whom they chose worthy..

No big secrets here. HP does not allow for information that is restricted for certified techs to be posted on this public forum. That is hp rules and not mine. If you need the instructions send me a message as i will not risk my status on this board.

Share the Secrets HP or LOSE YOUR CUSTOMERS...!! This is a Joke, Support with No Support. In our situation, Brand New Business Printer that doesn't Support Auto Duplex, I have to walk to the printer and turn the pages over, and Now, Warning Lights with each Print, so one must go to printer across room and Press a Button to Print, with each Print Job...? HP, is this your idea of a Joke...?
