I have an issue with automatically duplex printing. When I install the driver and print something it's working, but after I shut down printer and PC and try to print something later the auto duplex is not working and it's turned to manually.

In the printer preferences everything is ok, but when I try to print in word I see "print on both sides (Manually)" but in the device settings this manually is not shown.

There should be a solution for this or do I have to reinstall my printer every time I want to install something?

Thanks in advance for the help.

Hi,
Enter Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
Right-click the printer icon, then click Printer Properties.
Click the Device Settings tab.
Set the Automatic Two-Sided Duplex Accessory as installed and click OK to save the change.

Now Automatic Duplexing should become available.

Shlomi

This was already configured like that. But I saw that there where different printing preferences configured and found the correct preference that does automatically duplex printing.

Thanks for the help
