Background printing

Is this printer capable of printing a colored background?  I am making a sign and would like a colored background....can't figure this out!  Please help! Thanks, Kitti2

Depends what application you are using to create/edit/view/print the "sign".

Note that most browsers (by default) do not print background colours , so if you are using a browser to view/print your sign, you'll need to enable the appropriate option in the browser.

For Chrome, this is "Background Graphics" on the Print dialogue.

I am using Microsoft Word to make the sign.....I looked in Chrome to see if I could find the area you were talking about and I can't locate it.  The "print" area in settings don't give that option.  Thanks for your help though!   Kitti

Look under the "More settings" section in the Chrome Print dialogue:
