Product: Example: HP Officejet Pro 8610

I bought the Combo-pack 950/951 cartridges for my HP Officejet Pro 8610 Printer/Fax/Scan/Copy/Web machine.  The color cartridges fit but the black cartridge does not.  The machine said to purchase HP Cartridge Black 950; CMY 951 which is what I did.  I do not know why the black cartridge is not fitting in the machine but the color cartridges are fitting fine.  Can anyone help me?

check to make sure the orange tab is removed from the underside of the cartrdige.  most of these are keyed to fit into the printers carriage assembly/printhead.  you can check the cartrdige guides to ensure they correspond with one another.  Make sure there is no obstruction where the cartridge clips in.  its also possible HP made a mistake and labeled the wrong ink cartridge.
