LaserJet Pro 200 colour M251n

Hi,

I'm suddenly having trouble with my printer, it prints a black streak down the left hand side.

So far I have cleaned (with a microfibre dampened with rubbing alcohol) the rollers on the toner, the transfer belt, the roller at the back of the transfer belt and the foam roller at the rear door.

Nothing has worked and it's nothing to do with paper settings or my computer as it happens whenever I print anything, be it from a computer or a report from the LCD printer screen.

Please help! I also changed the cyan and magenta toner as they were low.

I've run cleaning pages, print quality pages, colour calibration and nothing seems to make a difference.

Also worth noting that the first page I print after a break is normally either perfect or the streak is faint but it gets stronger after that.

As the mark appears to be black, I would suggest that you have an issue with the black toner. This type of defect can occur when the seal on the cartridge starts leaking. If the cartridge shows as fairly full, contact HP as all OEM cartridges have a performance warranty and if it has failed before reaching low then it should be replaced.
