Be quite strange question. There are a lot old drum unit. hp ce505a. I would like to know inside is contact, of a metal he made - copper or brass. And what metal is used in the gear drum - zinc or something else ?

The drum unit itself is usually aluminum. The gears are often thermoplastic or cast metals. Contacts probably copper coated steel or stainless steel.
