I've never had problems with this printer, but recently, when I print in large quantities, the printer is printing some pages fine but adjusting the alignment up about an inch on other pages in the same order resulting in an inch of my print job being cut off.  There is no order to what pages it does.  Sometimes it is every other, but other times pages 1,3,7,9-12, and 16 will be fine and the others will be cut off.  Anyone have any idea how to fix this?

Welcome to HP support community.

To align the printhead from the printer control panel

1. Load letter, A4, or legal unused plain white paper into the main input tray.

2. On the printer control panel, press and hold the (Power) button.

3. Press (Resume) button three times.

Update the printer firmware

Refer this HP document for the steps to update firmware:- Click here

I hope that helps.
