CE400YC - Missing Specifications

I recently ordered a genuine 507X / CE400X High-Capacity cartridge for my m551n Laserjet.

Instead I received a CE400YC .

Reseller claims it's identical to the CE400X .

The problem is that I cannot verify since official specifications for this cartridge is non-existing. 😞

How do you open up a support case for a product that doesn't exist?

M551n  is one of the compatable models so you can use it no issues.

Hi & thanks for your fast respons.

I allready know that the CE400YC cartridge will work with the HP Laserjet 500 series.

The problem is that I cannot locate trustworthy info about its capacity.

http://www8.hp.com/h71041/learn-about-supplies/us/en/overview.php + CE400YC => Nothing.

When I'm searching the web ( non-HP sources ), there appears to be lots of confusion about the CE400YC.

Some sellers say that

CE400YC are OEM equivalents of the 507A / CE400A.

In other words, just a "normal capacity" cartridge.

Which makes somewhat sense, since the 507X / CE400X allready has an OEM siebling called CE400XC.

Others sellers claims that the CE400YC has the same capacity as the CE400X.

( Just like the webshop where I ordered a 507X / CE400X  )

It's a big problem if half the dealers worldwide are advertizing a standard ( 5500 page ) cartridge as a ( 11.000 page ) 507X / CE400X / CE400XC

I hope HP will step in and shed some light.
