CM2320nf unknown printer status

I let Windows 10 find my CM2320nf MFP Color LaserJet printer, it found it on my network, and it has an ip address.   I can connect to the printer and Windows 10 can do a successful test page.    I then ran the full software suite for this printer which includes the latest printer drives.    The HP Smart software can see the printer, recognizes that it is connected via Network, finds the IP address, but is unable to get me a printer status.   As a result, I cannot use the scanner or fax .. but I can print from my machine, so that is ok.

Any help with HP Smart getting the Printer Status to be known so I can Scan and Fax, that would be great.

The HP Smart App is not compatible with the printer, you may have to use the full-featured software of the printer to access the functionality of the printer.

Use this link to download and install the new driver. Configure the printer and try printing/scanning.

Refer to the User Guide for additional details on using the printer features.
