Hello Thank you,

Please it happens most often when i print about 10 documents.

I switched it off and turned it back ON after 30 minutes. It started alright but then went straight into cool down state again.

Yes ...i chekced the firmware was updated from the previous one.

I noticed from the forums people receive a private message that solves the problem. Please HELP. I need it urgently.

This may be indicating that the fuser is getting hot , main reason machine does the cool down .

Are you printing heavy paper?

No please.

No heavy printing jobs.

Just B&W print outs and  a few coloured pages.

Currently i just use the Copy thats all. After copying, instead of printing, it goes into cool-down mode for about 180sec and prints one page, then to cool down again.

Hello,

Printer enter cool  down as a protective measure to prevent internal temps from reaching a state where it could cause the toner to bond together.  When you print , what is the media size, complexity of the print and how many pages or copies.  This printer, when printing large jobs, complex or small media may go into the cool down as the internal environmental sensor detects  higher tempts and will either slow down print through put or stop when excessive heat is detected.

Try printing smaller (page ) jobs and be sure in the driver to select the appropriate media size for you print job.

Regards,

I believe it could be something else seriously.

I keep getting this cool down message and i don't know why.

The things i'm printing are not heavy at all.

Please if there is any other solution, pls give me.

Hello ,

To be honest with you , there is no simple solution for this issue , if the latest firmware is installed and the printer is not printing high volume , the issue may be related to the fuser , my recommendation is to contact HP support Line 18003345144.

Best Regards.

Thank you very much for your help.

I bought this printer from a retailer so i don't think contacting HP support in a country where HP support isn't is a very good idea.

I pray i find a solution soon.

Thank you very much anyways.
