CP 1025
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

 

CP1025....when I turn the printer on the warning light blinks for a few minutes, and then both the warning light and ready light turn on and remain steady (i.e. no blinking). Printer does not function. I tried the hard reset (unplugging power cable and waiting for some time) but it did not solve the problem.

 

Any help appreciated.

Did anything happen before this error lights came on?
(paper jam, changed the toner)
 
Please try the steps listed in this document:  Blinking Lights on the HP LaserJet Pro CP1025 and CP1025nw Color Printers. I wasn't sure if you did the reset the same way or not.
 
 
Are other lights flashing for the toners on the printer?
 
I will send you another step to try in a private message.
In the forum beside your handle name just click on the envelope to view it.

Thanks for replying back to me @Tango91a.

 

Since the Attention light is still staying on no matter what, it sounds like a hardware issue with possibly the toners being stuck.

Press one of the toner color buttons to see if the toners rotate.

If they aren't rotating, you can manually move the carousel, by releasing the locking mechanism. Use something to push it down. Manually move the carousel backwards, don't touch the toner, though. I have provided also a picture of where there are actually two areas to do this from, they are circled in red. The one on the left side is easier to move them. They may help with this situation.

 

Here is a picture of where you can manually move them.

 

If the issue continues, please contact HP Customer Support to find out what service or trade-in options are available. Fill in the model number and the form to receive a case number for quicker assistance. Thanks!

I had my printer completely appart.

 

The small top white gear on R/H side of Carousel  was 180 degrees out.  Repositioned gearing on opposite side of frame [motor side].

 

Got all lights flashing together and all cartridges/tag errors...

 

The things not included in the service manuals these daze!!!

Hi,

 

In my CP 1025 printer Attention light glowing after intialization, when am pressing the resume or cancel button Yellow Toner, Attention and power LEDs are blinking till am releasing the pressed buttons. please guide me to resolve this problem.

In PC it is displaying as fatal Error.
