alignment
When printing black and white documents everything is fine. But when printing a color document colors seem out of and yellow horizontal bands appear across the page. Have pretty much ruled out toner issues because I installed all toners in another CP2025 and they print normally. Does not appear to be a driver issue either because the demo page does the same thing.

I can't see your pictures yet, but sometimes it takes a bit for them to be seen.
If you print out a Supplies Status page, it will help show how the colors are aligning to the black. If all the colors are out of alignment to the black after several attempts to calibrate (it can take 4-5 times to work sometimes), then it's likely your black cartridge is to blame. I know you said it worked in a different printer, but each printer is different in how it handles cartridges. I've run into this many times for many customers. Try a different black cartridge in your printer and see what happens.
If only one color is out of alignment, replace that color cartridge.

I can now see your first set of pics, now waiting on the second set. If you see all the colors are off from the black, then it's likely your black cartridge is the problem. If you only see one or two, then it's likely that those cartridges are not working well with the printer. Sometimes it takes several tries at calibration for them to work. You might try a power reset to see if that helps.
With the power ON, unplug the printer for about 60 seconds, then plug it back in and power it ON. Run the calibration again and see what happens.

Interesting. I can see all your pics now. Just a note: Black will always align with itself, it's the other colors you need to worry about aligning with black. If all the colors are off the same way, then the black cartridge is the problem. In the pics you did share, the cyan is good, but the magenta and yellow are off the same way and the yellow is not filling in the block around the black dots like the other colors, it could be a problem with the yellow cartridge. You should never see the white areas around the black dots, it shows how badly out of alignment they are. But, if now the cyan is also off just like the others, try a new black toner cartridge.

Again, I appreciate your input. Since last entry I have done multiple calibrations with what I would call inconsistent results. Seems the only toners that are consistent is the black and somewhat the cyan (non-hp of course.) The Magenta seems to be permanently off but the yellow wavers a lot.

That is truly disappointing to see that amount of inconsistency. If you were one of my customers, I'd replace the magenta cartridge first to see if it's affecting the others, since it is always a problem, then proceed with the yellow next. Lastly I'd try the cyan and then black as the last one. I really feel one of those cartridges is a problem, just don't know which one. It's kind of a guessing game and trying them one at a time till it's fixed.

Thanks again. Respectfully I can't see spending 400-500.00 on new toners just as a troubleshooting test. I popped them back into my other machine, calibrated, and they worked fine. Reason I'm not using the other one is that it's been having an occasional transfer issue. For the money I'm probably better off buying a refurb CP2025 for a little more than the price of one toner so I can at least use up what I have.

I completely understand. Just stated what I would do for my customers. Different printers seem to handle the same cartridges differently. Some work, some don't. Sometimes when you put them in one printer and they work OK, you can put them back into the first printer, and now they work there too. No explanation as to why. Good luck!
