Operating System: macOS 10.15 Catalina

When I try to print a .jpg file, the printer give a "79 service error" message, does not print the file, and eventually resets itself. Help!

Network communication issue is the usual cause of 79 errors. Is your firmware up to date on this device? That is your starting point with trying to solve the problem.

HP Recommended

I checked the HP site's drivers area for this device; I saw nothing pertaining to firmware. Is there another place to look?
