I recently acquired a LaserJet M2727nf.
I was wanting to add some memory to it, to make it a little snappier on larger prints.
I have some 144 pin memory, but it's larger than the 256mb max that the manual says this printer supports.
Can I damage my printer using larger capacity RAM than the printer can support?
Thanks!

As long as the memory is identical specs in terms of voltage and speed, usually it will not damage the printer, however you need to be aware that in most cases the memory controller can only use the max amount of memory and that not all memory controllers will recognize all memory if the layout of chips on the dimm is not supported.
