So, I'm trying to enable HP Web Services to get my printer hooked up online but when I enter the IP address onto my browser's address bar and press enter, nothing happens and eventually, it will time out. Very frustrating!

Help!

@JordanF1, Welcome to HP Support Community!

I see that the printer is unable to connect to web services HP. Let us try to isolate and resolve the issue.

HP regularly releases printer updates. Updating the printer firmware might resolve the issue.

Download available firmware updates from the HP website

With the printer on and connected to the computer, go to HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads, and then identify your printer. Look for and install any available firmware updates. Refer to the document HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware

Additionally, follow the steps from the document HP Printers - Cannot Connect to Web Services.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Downloaded the firmware, entered in the IPv4 address and this is what I got:

Thanks for replying!

You may need to instead go into your router settings and try changing the channel manually. Experiment with different channels to see which one works best.

Also, could you perform a ping test using the Mac Network Utility and let me know the results?

Use the printer IP address to perform a ping test, the printer IP can be located by selecting the wireless icon on the printer display.

Keep me posted for further assistance.
