Hello! I have been trying to connect a ethernet cable to my printer, but it has not worked at all! I have reinstalled the software/drivers, flashed the printers firmware, and I have manually set the IP, Subnet Mask, Default Gateway with the correct values, yet in ToolboxFX, it says "Network Cable Disconnected." The cable is connected, when I restart the printer, one of the lights on the socket lights up, (specfically the orange one.) And then it turns off after it's finished initalizing. Could anyone please help me?
Thanks,
PrintingPuffy.

Hi,
A proper ethernet connection should be indicated with both Green and Orange lights remain on or blinking, it should not be turned off.
May you tried plugging the cable to another ethernet port of your router and may you tried another ethernet cable?

Restarting a modem is a very standard procedure, assuming the modem functions as expected and there are no issues with it which were just shown once restarting.
If you experience any issues with the modem try restarting it again, if there is no change I suggest contact your network service provider, that likely indicate any existing network problem.

I am having the same issue. I made sure everything worked on a laptop and it does. It is just the printer that does not work. I have also tried to restore to factory settings and it still does not fix it. Network cable disconnected is the error I am getting.
Any advice?
