Laserjet 1320
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi! I would appreciate any help. Windows 10 operating system cannot recognize my Laserjet 1320. It is not in the list of printers, even when I try to search for it. I tried to add it manually but I did not succeed - there is no HP in the list of drivers.

I downloaded the drivers that are currently on the website. The USB driver downloads, asks me if I want to run the program, I say yes, then it starts and disappears and nothing happens.

The other universal driver pack did not help either. When I try to get Windows Update to look for the driver, it freezes. Same when I ask it to find a driver for setting up the printer manually.

 

Please help!! Thank you!

Make sure of that the connected port  of HP 1320 in Windows 10's driver is Dot4_001 not USB001 ..002.

If what the drivers you have installed is USB001 ...002...003 change it into Dot4_001.

If you add new printer manually select the connected port as Dot4_001 it'll work.

HP universal drivers PCL5 PCL6 & ps all work, or you you can use P2055's drivers and they should work too.
