HP Color LaserJet MFP M282nw
Chrome OS

When I print from my Chromebook, the print is always in B&W even if I select color printing.

I am using WiFi direct, as Google Cloud print is still in state "Registering" on the 3rd day.

Color printing works fine from e.g. an Android device.

The printer says the firmware is the newest version.

I have tried to install HP Print for Chrome and reboot the chromebook.

I have also tried to remove the printer in the chromebook and add it again.

Still no color.

I hope you can help.

@SimonMikkelsen, Welcome to HP Support Community!

I see that you have issues with printing in color from Chromebook, let us try to reset the Chromebook. Follow the steps below-

Try a hard reset only after other ways to fix the problem have failed. It will restart your Chromebook hardware (like your keyboard and touchpad), and might delete some files in your Downloads folder.

  1. Turn off your Chromebook.
  2. Press and hold Refresh  + tap Power
  3. When your Chromebook starts up, release Refresh

Now, try to print.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
