@Vinay482, Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding the HP 4104dw laser jet pro mfp printer.

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution. We hope our assistance has been helpful!

If you're experiencing issues with your HP 4104dw LaserJet Pro MFP despite using original cartridges, you can follow these steps to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the problem:

  1. Verify Cartridge Compatibility:
  2. Ensure that the cartridge is compatible with your HP 4104dw printer model. The correct cartridge number should be either HP 152A or HP 152X for this model.

  3. Reinstall the Cartridge:

  4. Remove the toner cartridge and reinstall it properly in the printer. Make sure it is seated correctly by following these steps:

    • Press the front door release button and open the front door of the printer.
    • Carefully remove the toner cartridge
    • Reinsert the cartridge along the tracks inside the printer until firmly seated.
    • Close the front door.
  5. Check for Firmware Updates:

  6. Ensure the printer firmware is up to date. An outdated firmware can cause compatibility issues even with original cartridges. Visit HP's official site to check and update your printer firmware.

  7. Reboot the Printer:

  8. Turn off your HP printer, wait for about 60 seconds, and then turn it back on. This can help resolve temporary glitches.

I hope this helps!

Take care and have an amazing day!
