Product: Laser Jet Pro MFP M281 fdw

Hey, I have just purchased a full set of genuine HP cartridges for my M281fdw. When I put them in the printer it says Incompatible. SO I called the company I purchased from and he indicated that it was because the printer wasn't purchased in the region that I am now living!  So I guess I have 3 options.

1. Go to Dubai and buy some cartridges - where the printer was purchased.

2. Buy a new printer locally, ideally, that use the Cartridges I have just purchased.

3. Somehow, change the region of my printer to accept the cartridges. 

 

Option 3 seems the best value for money. I have scoured the web looking how, but can't see anything relevant. 

 

Help!

Hi I have the same problem after moving from UK (where I purchased my M281fdw) to Malaysia and buying HP cartridges in Malaysia.
