DO NOT use a standard vacuum to pickup toner, the particles are fine enough to pass through filter media and then be ejected into the air by the pressure of the vacuum. Compressed air is also the fast way to get it into the air where you can breathe it in. The best way to get toner off is to either get your hands on a strech'n'dust cloth (those yellow ones techs use) or a swifer cloth and wipe it up.
