Dell OptiPlex 5060
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a Color Laserjet Pro MFP M477fdn that is connected to a Dell computer with windows 10, and it will not print. The scanner works fine but just will not print. I have stopped the print spool and cleared out all information in the spool folder. Uninstalled reinstalled serveral times. It originally installed with a usb cable and then using the network but still nothing. Powered down and pulled the plug while it was still powered on for 5 min, still no luck. I only used this printer for three months and I'm wondering if it could be a windows update that's causing the problem? If so which file?

Hi TCATPhil,

Sorry you are having a problem.  Since this is a post from a bit ago, I would like to make sure you were able to get things printing again.  My first question is can you copy from the Scanner, which you say works - say scan to file?  If you can actually copy, then the printer is working and there is a problem with the connection from the computer.  Please let us know if you can copy and then we will solve the problem from there.
