LaserJet Pro M201dw
macOS 10.14 Mojave

I am contemplating upgrading to Mac OS 10.14 Mojave and want to know if my printers are compatible with the upgrade.

I have an HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 3835 and a LaserJet Pro M201dw.

Thank you.

Hi,

Both printers are fully supported on Mojave.

If you experience any issues after updating your OS follow HP Easy Start to update the printer drivers to its latest version, be sure to follow it twice for any of your printers:

I just installed a new router and my HP 2600n printer does not reconnect to my new WiFi network. I tried everything, from turning off my routers and the printer and turning them back on, to attempting to install the printer drivers for my MacBook Air which uses OS X 10.14.3 Mojave. I have also tried HP Easy Smart. I tried installing the HP Printer Drivers v5.1 for OS X but that file appears corrupted; I get an error message during installation: "System extension cannot be used" (The system extension "/Library/Extensions/hp_io_enabler_compound.kext" was installed improperly and cannot be used. Please try reinstalling it, or contact the product's vendor for an update."

I also reset my printer to Factory Settings. None of these attempts were successful.
