LaserJet Pro color 300-400
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a network connected LaserJet Pro color.451  dn series

I have a HP desktop running Win 10, 64 bit

I cannot print to the printer despite

having installed it with HP  program several times (removed duplicates) 

I can ping it via cmd ping command and it pings well

Remove the printer from window 10 and then use the find printer to see if the computer finds the printer and loads it by itself. It should. If it can not find the printer, then say it is a tcp/ip printer so you can manually  add the printer which it should then find and load the drivers built into the system.

I did that several times, spent most of a day.

dleted andf re-downloaded the HP program after the CD didn't work

On another website, it was suggested that I set up a new Port with the IP address as its descriptor and select that under the prontrer properties.
