For some reason, when I choose Apps on my printer, it goes to "downloading from web", then i choose Quick Forms, then it goes to "downloading from web". I choose Notebook paper as that is what i want to print and after i choose that, I get Connection Error.

i have unplugged the printer, reset my network adapter on my laptop, reset the router.  Ran the wireless network test report; no errors.  Also ran the self test/configuration and i don't really see anything that looks odd.

Any ideas anyone?  I need to print out the notebook paper so I am hoping to get this resolved.  Thanks for any and all help

@sstaarzzz Welcome to HP Community!

I understand that you are getting a Connection error when trying to print quick forms using Apps.

Please perform the hard reset and check.

  1. Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.

  2. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.

  3. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.

  4. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.

  5. Wait at least 60 seconds.

  6. Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.

  7. Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.

  8. Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.

  9. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed

The hard reset did not work.  I also tried resetting router, modem, printer and shut down of laptop.  Didn’t help.
