Scan to Email had been working fine for about 2 years… we recently switched our email from Rackspace to Office 365 so we had to update the smtp settings in the printer. I made the adjustments and tested it, got the "The test has been completed successfully." message and received the success email. But when I try it at the printer, I get "Connection to the SMTP server was lost. Try sending again." I've tried everything I could think of or found online, no luck. Any ideas?

Make sure that you have your Office 365 account configured properly and that the account you are using to authentication has the correct rights. Also ensure that your DNS settings on the printer are correct.

Thanks Repairatrooper,

What do you mean by "configured properly" and "correct rights"? Because the same smtp settings are working for the other two printers and all 25 email accounts in our office… unless you mean there are special settings for Office 365 in the printer setup somewhere? The DNS settings should still be setup correctly since I didn't need to change them, just the smtp settings.
