LaserJet Pro MFP M521dn
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I have a handful of LaserJet Pro MFP M521dn printers and they are all giving me the same message when I scan to email from the printer. The scan send to the email with no issues, but will give this message after sending it "Connection to the SMTP server was lost. Try sending again." I have tested from other Network printers, most are other HP brands, and they do not have the same issue. Only this model. I have checked my SMTP, and everything is working as it should. These never had a problem until about a month or 2 ago. I have tried updating the firmware on 1 of them but it still gives the message.

If you are using a FQDN for the SMTP server name try the IP address  you can also try setting the network card link speed to manual from auto-negotiate as we have seen some lower end models that function more reliably setup this way.

Thank you for taking the time to help. Unfortunately, it still gives me the message after I changed to the IP Address and tested.
