Product: HP Laserjet CP1025
Operating System: macOS 10.15 Catalina

Every time I want to print I need to uninstall and reinstall because it cant find my printer. This problem only started after updating to Catalina. It was every now and then at first but it's everyday now. With virtual school going on I was unable to print at all today. After installing I just get message that printer is in error state.

HP Recommended

Set the printer to a fixed/static IP address that is not in use by anything else, and then setup the printer on your Mac using that IP address instead of it automatically finding it a different way. That way the IP address will never change and you shouldn't have any more issues.
