Laserjet Pro MFP M479fdw
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I see in the syslog of my new LaserJet Pro MFP M479fdw DHCP error messages every 5 minutes.

This might be also the reason, why the printer is not going into the sleep mode.

The wire network is configured with static IP address. The wireless network is switched off.

Why is there any DHCP activity in this configuration?

And why this leads to an error?

I need a solution to solve the issue and to have the possibility to go to sleep mode and to stop the syslog spam.

syslog:

HP just released a new firmware update for this device and the fix list includes issues with DHCP.

New firmware is 002_2118A

The new firmware is not fixing this problem.

I have loaded the new firmware yesterday, but there is still the same issue.

I want to address this issue directly to HP.

Is there a possibility to contact HP by email? On the support page is only a telephone contact.

Can anybody give me an email address for HP printer support?
