Hello,
I use single sider printing about 90% of the time and cannot find where to get my LaserJet Pro M203dw to default to single sided printing. Iforget to uncheck in the print dialogue box and wind up prnting again. Where can I change the default for the printer itself?
Thanks.

Hello, @JANNEMUMMERT – Hope you are well 🙂
Welcome to the HP Forum! This is a wonderful location to converse with the community, get assistance and find tips!
I understand that you are trying to disable the 2-sided / duplex on your LsaerJet printer. I would suggest the steps mentioned below to try and fix the issue:
- Go to Control panel – Devices and printers.
- Right-click on LaserJet and select “Printing preferences”.
- Under the Paper/Quality or Layout tab, uncheck/unselect the 2-sided / duplex printing option.
- Apply and save the settings. Now try to print.
Also, you can check detailed steps here: HP LaserJet Pro Color M351, M375, M451 and M475 MFP Product Series - How to manage driver settings f...
Those steps should do the trick, let me know the outcome!
Good luck 🙂

Hi,
Steps to disable duplex printing;
1.) Choose Control panel> Devices and Printers>Right click on the printer icon and select Printer properties.
2.) Under Printer properties select>Device settings> Duplex= Not installed>Apply
3.) Right click on the M203 printer icon and choose Printing preferences > select Finishing and uncheck Print on both sides.
