LaserJet P2055dn

The LaserJet P2055dn is on a school network with a static IP address.  It uses tray 2 when printing without Google Cloud Print. But when the students print using Google Cloud Print, the printer receives the job then displays "load Tray 1 Plain, Letter."  Then  "Press OK for available media."  How can I have the printer default to tray 2 when using Cloud Print?

Hi Joy81,

Please try this.  On the control panel or imbedded webserver (found by typing the static IP address into any explorer window) go to the setup, System setup, paper setup.  Make sure that tray 2 is set for Plain type and Letter size.  Then try setting tray 1 to either Any size and Any type or some non standard size for this test.  If there is media in tray 2 and the type and size is set, have a student try to print with google cloud.  The job should then see that the media in the tray matches the media that seems to be called out in the job and print from that tray as default.
