Hi,
I want to know that command which work on PCL5e printer language printer Hp laserjet p1606dn , should also work on PCL 5c printer HP laser jet M203dn?
both printer has PCL 5 support,but it does not work on Hp laserjet m203dn.
Please help me.

According to the datasheets available on the web:
- The LaserJet Pro 1606dn is primarily a host-based printer, but it does support PCL 5e.
- The LaserJet Pro M203dn supports PCL 5c, PCL 6, PS, PCLm, PDF, URF, PWG.
The specification for the M203dn may be wrong, since it is a monochrome device, so doesn't necessarily need to support the PCL5c colour extensions to the PCL5e (monochrome) Page Description Language.
What particular PCL5 escape sequences are you having trouble with?
... or does it not recognise any PCL at all?
... what about plain ASCII text?
