Direct Scan to PC, Or to Email without Server

I got a used LaserJet M577 which is meant for an office but I have it at home. 

For the Scanning function, I can scan to a USB drive, however I would love to scan to email but I think I need a print server on my home network.  I have a PC in my office and I suppose I could use that but is there another way?  My Laptop is Win 10 PRO and the PC in my office is Win 10 if that helps.

Can I initiate a scan from a PC on the home network to pull the scan to that PC?

Yes, you can set it up multiple ways to scan to computer or computer requests scan from printer.
