One of our users complained that he has to turn on his laserJet Pro MFP M130fw every morning. I checked the setting. I found the printer is set to shutdown after being inactive for 4 hours. I can change the timer to 2 hours or 8 hours. But I cannot disable the auto shutdown feature. Is there any way that I can keep the printer in sleep mode without shutdown?

Thanks for reaching out to us on HP Forums.
I came across your post and would like to assist.
I understand that you would like to disable the auto shutdown option on your HP LaserJet Pro MFP M130fw. I appreciate your efforts in troubleshooting this issue and have certainly done a good job.
During my research, I came across the user guide (https://hp.care/2f15Dfl). The page number 121 suggest to choose "When Ports Are Active" option. This option when this option is selected the printer will not shut down unless all ports are inactive. An active network link or fax connection will prevent the printer from shutting down.
However, you will need to install the full featured drivers for the printer. In case the full featured drivers are not installed then they can be downloaded from this link: https://hp.care/2IwPGeh
Hope this information helps. Let me know how it goes.
Cheers! 🙂
